The day is light, the day begins, new notifications, the cellphone dings.
Untuck yourself, get out of bed. Begin to be the living dead.
Grab your phone and start to type, you become mindless with just one swipe.
Go through your day looking at a screen. Don't the sun nor that the grass is a beautiful green.
A monstrosity many of us can't escape, an evil vice with a precious cape.
At night you put it away, but alas it shall see another day.

Hope you enjoy guys and have a nice day!!! :-)

What's Happenings

Hi guys. I wanted to tell you that I have someone staying at my house. My five year old baby cousin. He  is super adorable and is giving everybody hugs. The best part is that he is staying here forever and by here  I mean in my house. Also, tommorow is going to be my second week of school. My teachers are Ms.Lisa(science), Mr.Perez(Spanish), Mr. Cantatore(American History), Ms.Kuzurian(Gym),Ms.Lentini(Math Strategy), Ms.Gil(Reading), Ms.Buozzaoui(Math Exploration), and finally Ms.Fernandez(Writing). So far I have taken various personality quizzes like what type of learner I am. Answer: The most common visual learner. I have had to take the pre-test, too. It doesn't count as a grade, it's just to see how much of the curriculum you know. Last but not least, I wanted to tell you about this web site called edmodo that is like a school facebook in which the teacher creates a class, the students join, and the teacher can post things for the students. Just in case there are any teachers reading my blog. Well until next time.

Last day of...

Yesterday was the last day of a torturous phase of life...school! Not just any school by the way. I just finished elementary school meaning I am officialy part of the seventh grade, middle school.
My happy face because i'm going to the Middle School.
I passed with straight A's. I was dancing and singing to "High School Musical"all the way home. I bet I would have failed in the arts if they would have seen me singing and dancing. I just can't describe the feeling because since the first day of school I knew I was going to pass, but when it happened it felt so much better. I felt I could do anything and no I'm not trying to sound cliche. Anyway you know how at the beginning I said school was torturous. Well that all ends o n the last day of school because today I am already happy to be planning everything for next year. Well that's it and also I am very sorry for not writing in like 1,000,000,000 years. I promise I'll write more. ;-)

Miami

Hello fellow blogger readers that I haven't written to in a very long time. Today I went to various places. First of all, I saw the last train stop in Miami, which had people made of dirt and leaves. We ate in a very antique looking tearoom. Everybody tried to eat my 6 layer carrot cake, but who wouldn't try. I also bought a Blue Onyx, a rock that is supposedly for determination. Later we bought a bunch of fruit, fed fish, and looked at animals (especially bunnies). Then, I went to the pool and after that my amazing godmother, Rali, took me to her house and I reunited with my cousin Michelle, which has a blog: michyscupcakes.blogspot.com.  Now I am playing with her and it is 12:22, so goodnight to the people who are tired or have to go to sleep.
Bye Bye

Thank God It's Friday

Today I am going to my grandma's home a.k.a Mamiloqui's home. She only lets me call her that. Well anyway, I am going to go to her apartment and I will play with my friend Daniela. I also pretend to practice a tango for the nexrt party I have in my house. In addition, I pretend to stay up late watching CSI Miami and Cold Case.                                                                                                                                  So far everything has been okay, but I suspect we will be having a fire drill with all this snow. Luckily, we were told to grab our coats. As I am typing I am in computer class. Now I have to leave see you later alligators.

Silk!

Dear viewers,
Today from school. Yay. I read " The Story of the World." I found out that the person that discovered silk was Lei Zu, wife of the emperor, Huang Di. One day she was under a mulberry tree having lunch. She was about to drink her tea when a silk worm cocoon fell into her drink. She unraveled the cocoon to find a thread so light that it floated in the wind and shone like the sun. She picked some more and gave them to the tailor to make into a robe for her husband. That is how the Chinese made SILK!!!
               Love,
      Lila
